We had the second annual Borracho party last week in Otaru. I think it was a bog success. The party was supposed to end at 9pm, but it ended up going beyond that. There were a couple of parties after the parties as well.

There will be plenty of salsa dancing at a great party planned for Friday, July 7 at the Otaru Soko #1, only 30 minutes from Sapporo. Dinner is included. Rumor has it that there is an Argentine Tango demonstration in the works.

There was another fun salsa party last Saturday night, February 4 in Otaru. There was a good mix of salsa dancers from Sapporo and Otaru, including some cute salsa dancing kids. The food and music were excellent. Eventhough it was very cold outside that night, everyone seemed to warm up once the dancing began.
Sapporo Salsa Lessons
Every Friday night there are salsa lessons next to the Shin-Sapporo station. Fun for beginners and experienced dancers. Techniques range from beginning basic steps to more advanced shines and pair work. Classes are from 7:00-8:00 pm at:Atsubetsu-ku Gym
